Pokémon GO adds new Daily Adventure Incense Item

Niantic has announced that a new item called Daily Adventure Incense will be making it’s way to Pokémon GO. This new item seems to offer players a daily, free incentive to get out of the house and play the game.

A long running complaint with Pokémon GO since the games launch is that players in rural areas have very little ways to interact with the game, as rare Pokémon are often drawn to areas with many Poké Stops and Gyms. This new feature seems to alleviate that problem as well as the continuing issue of Pokémon GO having to adapt in a post COVID-19 world.

As stated earlier Daily Adventure Incense will be available daily for free. As an added bonus if you have 30 or less Poké Balls, Great Balls, and Ultra Balls, at the time you activate the incense you will receive 30 Poké Balls for free. While it’s not fully known the exact magnitude of how many Pokémon will be available through the Incense, reports are coming in that the Galarian Forms of Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres are some of the Pocket Monsters you can spot with the incense (albeit with a very low catch rate).

This seems like a great way for stagnant players to get back into the game and hopefully catch some more rare Pokémon to round out their Dex.
