BitSummit, now celebrating ten years of the best of Japanese indies, has something really special to celebrate a decade’s worth of indie love. None other than legendary game composer Yuzo Koshiro will be performing on the BitSummit X-Roads stage. Joining Koshiro is long-time BitSummit musical guest and opening act, Professor Sakamoto. Both will perform together for a unique world premiere collaboration in honor of BitSummit’s tenth anniversary.
BitSummit X-Roads will take place Saturday, August 6, and Sunday, August 7, 2022. Operating hours are from 10:00 AM JST until 5:00 PM JST. BitSummit X-Roads will broadcast from the main stage on both days live on YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, and Bili Bili in Japanese, English, and Chinese.
Finally, just in case you’re unfamiliar, Yuzo Koshiro has composed some of the most iconic game soundtracks the industry his seen. He lent his talents to ActRaiser, the Streets of Rage franchise, Etrian Odyssey, Shenmue, Smash Bros., and so on. Chances are you’ve played multiple games featuring the fantastic work of Koshiro!
