Back with Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Monolith Soft released a piece of DLC titled Torna – The Golden Country. This story-based DLC added in a very sizable chunk of gameplay to the experience, taking anywhere from 20 to 40 hours to complete.

We’ve known for awhile now that Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is also getting some story-based DLC in the future, and thanks to an interview with Nintendo’s Genki Yokota, we have a better idea of the expected scope.

In particular, Yokota mentioned that the team is currently thinking of making Xenoblade Chronicles 3’s story DLC match the volume of content found in Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna – The Golden Country. It seems like there’s still some more planning to do before final details are locked in, but no matter what, it sounds like the story DLC coming our way will be quite sizable.
