Kirby and the Forgotten Land launched to rave reviews an amazing support from Switch owners around the world, and today gives us a much better idea of just how well the game is doing.

Nintendo’s most recent fiscal report reveals that Kirby and the Forgotten Land has sold 4.53 million units so far, and it achieved that figure in just 15 weeks. Believe it or not, that makes Kirby and the Forgotten Land the second best-selling Kirby game in the entire franchise. The only game left to topple is the original Kirby’s Dream Land, which sits at 5.13 million sold. In other words, Kirby and the Forgotten Land will no-doubt become the best selling Kirby game of all-time later this year.

It’s also worth noting that Kirby and the Forgotten Land has achieved the fastest sell-through of any Kirby game released. That means it moved more units in its first 15 weeks than any other Kirby title out there!

Forgotten Land got me back into the Kirby series, after barely playing any of them since the original Dream Land. I own others, but they’ve mostly remained in my backlog. In fact, until Forgotten Land, the only Kirby game I’d actually beaten was Epic Yarn lol. After playing and absolutely adoring Forgotten Land though, I’m definitely gonna go back and play more of them, probably starting with the two 3DS games, Triple Deluxe and Planet Robobot, as I’ve heard both of those are great!
