No more characters or balance patches planned for Dragon Ball FighterZ, no rollback netcode for Switch
Bad news, and then really bad news
If you’ve been holding out hope that another one of your Dragon Ball Z favorites who hasn’t made it into Fighterz yet would be coming sometime in the future, we’ve got bad news for you. It looks like the roster is officially complete.
Dragon Ball FighterZ producer Tomoko Hiroki discussed a number of topics about the game, including the roster. According to Hiroki, the team has no plans to add additional characters to the roster. The lineup as it is now is where things are going to stay. The same goes for balance updates, as the devs believe all the fine-tuning that could be done has already been implemented.
It’s also worth noting that rollback netcode was announced for the PS5, XSX versions of the game, but not for Switch. It doesn’t seem this will be an option for Switch players, unfortunately.
