Nintendo Switch Sports receives Platinum sales award in Germany
Congrats, Nintendo!
Just last week, Nintendo released their Q1 2023 sales results, and that data revealed that Nintendo Switch Sports has already moved over 5 million units worldwide. The Nintendo fans in Germany did their part to help the game hit that 5 million mark, as Nintendo Switch Sports has received a sales award in that region.
Nintendo Switch Sports is now the recipient of a Platinum sales award. This award is given out to games that manage to move over 200k units, and Nintendo Switch Sports did that in Germany with ease. There are also awards for hitting 500k and 1 million, so we’ll have to see if Nintendo Switch Sports reaches those heights as the months roll on.

1+ y agoI don't think Switch Sports is as anywhere near as good or as impactful as Wii Sports. Wii Sports Resort was even better again. 5 million Switch Sports sales, I think it's the nostalgia and association with the original that's helped it reach that milestone.
