A Plague Tale getting TV show adaptation

A Plague Tale: Innocence, which made its way to Switch via a cloud release, is now getting a TV show adaptation.

While a US production studio was interested in the project, French talent will instead be tackling the adaptation. This makes perfect sense, as the game itself is set in medieval France, developer Asobo is located in France as well.

French director Mathieu Turi (Inglourious Basterds) is tied to the project, although no details were shared on casting or release timing.
