New video gives a better look at Japan's Pokémon GO 3D billboard
It's Pokémon in real-life...sort of!
Earlier in the week we shared news of the Cross Shinjuku Vision billboard getting a Pokémon makeover to promote Pokémon GO. This wasn’t just any billboard though, as the Cross Shinjuku Vision is known for displaying pseudo-3D billboards to the crowds that wander by. We had plenty of promo images to show what the board would look like, but now we have some footage of it in action.
There’s no doubt seeing the billboard in real-life will make the illusion that much better, but the vast majority of us will have to make do with the above video. It certainly does a great job of showing off the animated nature of the billboard, and there’s all sorts of Pokémon on display.
Time Square has one of these 3D billboards as well, so hopefully Niantic will consider bringing this over to NYC!
