Just yesterday, Nintendo released a lengthy Splatoon 3 video in Japan that pretty much served as an introduction to Splatoon for newcomers. It’s clear Nintendo wants to make sure those who’ve never played a Splatoon game feel welcome in Splatoon 3, as now they’ve opened a brand-new site meant to inform people on the world of Splatoon.

The site, along with yesterday’s video, goes over the ins and outs of Splatoon in general, using Splatoon 3 as the base. Details are shared on basic gameplay elements, mechanics, characters, and more. It’s all standard stuff for those who’ve been playing Splatoon for years, but it’s still a fun site to snoop through. You can check it out for yourself here.

Along with that, Nintendo has mentioned that those planning to jump in on the Splatoon 3 Splatfest World Premiere can show their allegiance to their team via Twitter. Those who link their Nintendo account to Twitter and approve access can change their Twitter icon to show support for their team of choice. Unfortunately, it seems this is only open to users in Japan for the time being. Still, if you’d like to take a look at the signup page, you can find it here.
