RUMOR: Sonic Prime may hit Netflix December 2022
A prime time for release?
Sonic Prime is the next big animated feature for Sonic, and it’s a series you’ll be able to stream from the comfort of your own home via Netflix. We know that Sonic Prime is coming sometime in 2022, but Netflix is yet to lock in an official date. While we’re still waiting on the final word, we have some pretty believable info from a trustworthy source.
Toru Nakahara, producer on the Sonic the Hedgehog movie, let it slip in a new interview that Sonic Prime should see release on Netflix sometime in December of this year. That’s a bit later in the year than fans were hoping for, but at least the 2022 promise will remain intact.
Again, this is not an official announcement from Netflix, but you’d think a Sonic producer would definitely be in-the-know. Hopefully Netflix shares official info in the near future.
