So close, yet so far...

Lunistice was announced for Switch back in May 2022, and at that time we heard the game was coming out September 2nd, 2022. Unfortunately, that’s no longer the case. Developer A Grumpy Fox has just announced that the game is delayed, and even worse, there’s no new date.

What’s causing the delay for Lunistice? According to the developer, “AAA releases were announced for the same date,” and the team doesn’t want Lunistice to get lost in the shuffle. As far as a new release date, the dev team says they’ll share the new date as soon as possible.

Lunistice is a 3D Platformer created with simple but fun gameplay and a cute PS1/SEGA Saturn inspired artstyle in mind. Take the role of Hana the Tanuki and jump and fight through her dreams! What secrets await her on the moon - her final destination? Lunistice features a retro look heavily inspired by early 90s 3D graphics with bouncy enemies and a fluffy heroine.
