Pokemon GO's "Season of Light" kicks off Sept. 1st, 2022

Niantic has revealed the next season of Pokémon GO, and it’s kicking off in just a few days. Pokémon GO Trainers can look forward to the Season of Light, which starts on Sept. 1st, 2022. The debut trailer for the Season of Light can be seen above.

The universe may be billions of years old, but it still finds ways to surprise. There are new discoveries all around us waiting to be uncovered—you have to be willing to change your perspective.

Sometimes that means waiting for the sun to go down and looking through a telescope at the nebulas on the other side of the cosmos. Other times it’s a little daytime research with your favorite Pokémon professor to discover the mysterious creatures appearing in your neighborhood. Whatever the case, one thing is always true—adventures are more fun with friends!

So grab your flashlight, call your friends, and make some room in your Item Bag. The mysteries of our bright, colorful cosmos aren’t going to discover themselves!
