Taiwanese ratings board lists The Oregon Trail for Switch

Wondering what big-name game is coming to the Switch next? We’re always keeping an eye out for what’s on the horizon, and something quite interesting has just been spotted. According to the Taiwanese Ratings Board, an absolute legend of an experience is heading to the Switch sometime in the future.

According to a recent listing, none other than The Oregon Trail is coming to the Switch. Unfortunately, outside of the iconic game name, we don’t know any other details about this release. We don’t have information on what company is handling it, nor do we know which version of the game it’ll be. The listing doesn’t even give a date, so we have no clue when it’ll arrive.

The most recent release of The Oregon Trail was put out by Gameloft, which looks quite different visually and includes a handful of new game mechanics, but certainly retains the spirit of the original. Whether it’s this version or not that’s coming to Switch remains to be seen.
