Konami says 'never say never' to a 2000s TMNT collection

If all else fails, then it's time to kick butt!

TMNT: The Cowabunga Collection recently released on Switch, and it’s a huge dose of nostalgia for older Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans. The collection packs in 13 classic TMNT games from the 90s era, but that’s certainly not the entire library of Turtles games, especially when you get to the 2000s era.

Now that we’ve seen a mega-grouping of 90s TMNT games in one package, could we hope to see the same thing happen to some of the 2000s games? NintendoEverything spoke to Konami producer Charles Murakami to find out, and their response was at least somewhat encouraging.

“Never say never! I’ve waited decades for a TMNT Collection, and seeing other fans share my desire to see this project come together is one of the greatest moments in my career. Although sometimes the stars have to align for a project to come together, I’m encouraged when you see fans nudging those stars into place.”

They need to fix this Collection, first.

In what way do they need to fix this collection? Every review I've read and every person I know who's played it says it works perfectly well. There's nothing broken about it. 🤷

As for the article, the GBA games should have been included in this collection in the first place.

@kingbroly

What's wrong with it?

Online problems, filters are bad/create image problems, sound is low/off on certain games.

I'd also like an 8:7 option for NES/SNES games because once you see the option in other compilations of older games, you want uniformity.

I don't see any issues with this collection and I own all the original carts to compare them to!
