Ever since Nintendo scooped up Monolith Soft, the RPG aficionados have been lending their development expertise to a few other Nintendo titles over the years. While you might think Monolith Soft is too busy with their own Xenoblade series to offer help for other Nintendo projects, it appears they have some extra hands on deck to aid the Big N when needed.

Monolith Soft has updated the ‘Games’ section of their official website with a new listing, and it’s none other than Splatoon 3. This confirms that Monolith Soft helped Nintendo with some of the heavy lifting on Splatoon 3, but we don’t actually get any insight into what exactly the team did. Still, it’s pretty interesting to see Nintendo leaned on Monolith Soft once again to get a job done.

Truth be told, it shouldn’t be much of a surprise that Monolith Soft did some work for Splatoon 3. If you check out Monolith Soft’s Games page, you can see that they also tackled projects on Splatoon and Splatoon 2 as well.
