NieR:Automata The End of YoRHa includes optional motion controls
Do you plan 2B wagglin' your Joy-Con?
NieR:Automata The End of YoRHa is less than a month away, as it comes to Switch on October 4th, 2022. We’ve already learned a ton about the game leading up to launch, and today brings us one more surprising, but welcome tidbit.
According to some new hands-on sessions with NieR:Automata The End of YoRHa, we’ve learned that the game will include options motion controls for those who like a bit of waggle with their gameplay. Here’s how the control scheme works:
- Shake the left Joy-Con to dodge
- Swing the right Joy-Con horizontally to do a weak attack
- Swing the right Joy-Con vertically for a strong attack
These motion controls sound extremely similar to what you’d expect from a game back in the Wii days. For some that’ll be a great thing, and others will opt to ignore them. Either way, it’s always nice to have the option!
Thanks to Álvaro for the heads up!
