Tales of Symphonia Remastered was announced during this week’s Nintendo Direct, bringing a beloved GameCube classic to the Switch. While the Nintendo Direct gave us a quick glimpse of the title, a whole new wave of footage has come out today, thanks to the Tokyo Game Show.

Bandai Namco showed off gameplay for Tales of Symphonia Remastered earlier today via special TGS live-stream, which we’ve shared above. If you’d like to see the game running on PS4, check out 37:58 to 44:50. If you’re more interested in the Switch version, you’ll find footage of that from 45:05 to 46:32.

Tales of Symphonia Remastered includes enhanced graphics and improved gameplay! The world of Sylvarant is controlled by shadowy forces called Desians. To stop them, a person known as the Chosen One must ascend the Tower of Salvation. Lloyd soon embarks on a journey with Colette, the current Chosen One and his childhood friend, in this classic action-RPG. The fate of two interconnected worlds hangs in the balance. Play with up to three friends in local co-op mode to fight powerful opponents in real-time battles. Combine hundreds of special attacks and magic spells. Tales of Symphonia Remastered begins its journey on Nintendo Switch in early 2023.
