Splatoon 3 being inundated with Tenta Missile cheaters
Rain of terror
Splatoon fans have a few weapons that they aren’t crazy about, and the Tenta Missiles special is certainly one of them. Long before Splatoon 3 came out, fans of the franchise found Tenta Missiles to be a headache to deal with, and were hoping the special would be left out of the threequel. That didn’t end up being the case, but even worse, Tenta Missiles are now more deadly than ever due to a new glitch.
While we don’t know the specifics on how it works, it seems some players have figured out a glitch/bug/hack that lets them fire away on the Tenta Missiles special as much as they want. Normally you’d have to do a lot of inking to build up your special, but this workaround lets those who use the Tenta Missiles fire away for an ungodly amount of time, which means the opposing team is under a constant barrage. You can see the tactic in action below.
This is obviously an issue Nintendo needs to work out, but as far as we know, they haven’t even addressed the problem publicly. Let’s hope Nintendo is already well aware behind the scenes and are cooking up a fix.

The replay feature added to Splatoon 3, making cheating like this easily exposed, is the real hero here.

8M agoWow, I haven't encountered this yet, but I really hope Nintendo steps up and fixes this quickly. Especially seeing as we're paying for online service.
