Just one day after starting their efforts in Fortnite, Epic had donated $36 million in humanitarian aid to the Ukraine. Fast-forward a couple more days, and Epic has now raised over $50 million in aid.
For those who don’t know, Epic is donating all of their Fortnite proceeds from now until April 3rd, 2022 to the Ukrainian people. The efforts have been a huge success so far, with millions in aid sent out. That tally is sure to tick ever higher as the weeks roll on, and the higher-ups in Ukraine are well aware.
Believe it or not, Ukraine’s vice prime minister, Mykhailo Fedorov, took to Twitter to publicly thank Epic for their aid. You can read his full statement below.
