Every month, Mario Golf: Super Rush has a new unlockable cosmetic reward for players to earn. This month, the new Ranked Match reward allows Luigi to wear his classic overalls in the game.
To earn this unlockable outfit, players need to reach at least the rank of A- on Ranked Match mode by earning points. Points can be gained by playing and winning online matches, particularly against higher ranked opponents.
You can purchase Mario Golf: Super Rush to get in on the denim craze via the eShop.
Infinite Links, a new RPG from Kemco, has been announced to release for Switch on May 12, 2022. Infinite Links has over 8 characters, a skill board, as well as the ability to upgrade equipment and magic in its fantasy setting. The title also permits the player to arrange your party members into formations to maximize strategy. Kemco provided the following overview of Infinite Links:
Talismans are magical items that contain great power, even with some that can grant any desire. Kronos, a boy training as a wizard, and Serene, who consider one another as siblings, become enveloped in a Talisman conspiracy. Will they be able to save themselves and the world from the threatening danger?
Equip Talismans to the Skill Board to acquire skills and fatal moves to turn the tides in turn-based battles. Forging and upgrading weapons, armor and Talismans from materials will grant you additional advantages. There are also strategic elements with battle formations and traps, and not to mention the variety of quests, arena and monster achievements that await as challenges!

Next Wave of Nintendo Switch Online Kirby Icons Available

Nintendo has just released another wave of Nintendo Switch Online icons based on Kirby and the Forgotten Land. The icons, which each cost 10 platinum points to procure, include action stills of Kirby, Meta Knight, Waddle Dee, and the Maxim Tomato.
The icons will be available until May 5th, 9:00 PM EST.

More Sega Genesis Classics!
Three new Sega Genesis games have been added to SEGA Genesis - Nintendo Switch Online: Sonic the Hedgehog Spinball, Shining Force II, and Space Harrier II. All Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members will be able to play the titles now on their Switch.
Nintendo describes the titles as the following:
- In Sonic The Hedgehog Spinball, Dr. Robotnik’s fortress is a giant pinball machine! Help Sonic spin, bounce and bump through four different pinball zones made up of glittering caverns, slimy sewers, boiling lava and monstrous machinery to collect the Chaos Emeralds and save the inhabitants of Mobius from a mountain of trouble.
- Shining Force II joins the original Shining Force in the SEGA Genesis – Nintendo Switch Online library! In this tactical RPG fantasy adventure, you’re tasked with leading the titular Shining Force in cinematic battles against an ancient evil that threatens to overtake the land.
- Become the heroic Space Harrier in Space Harrier II and battle a bevy of wicked creatures in this frantic and challenging action game, which was one of the original launch titles for the SEGA Genesis!

RIN: The Last Child Announced for Switch
Metroidvania with spellcrafting!
RIN: The Last Child has been announced for a Switch release in September 2022. Space Fox Games has described the game as a “Metroidvania with a unique spellcrafting system.” In RIN, you will transverse the landscape to find and create spells. You will also be able to enchant spells to create spell variants.

KEMCO and hap.inc have released My Brother Ate My Pudding! for the Switch for $4.99 on the eShop. This is the first time that the title, which was very popular on mobile, has been available on consoles. This version also contains new levels for its console release.
My Brother Ate My Pudding! is well known online for its setup of hilarious, ridiculous puzzles and its unique art style. KEMCO describes the game as the following:
Everyone must have experienced the times you ate your sister’s precious pudding stored in the fridge! Now, as the guilty brother, try to hide and escape from your sister in anger for the pudding you ate! An easy-going and funny escape game in a situation everyone has experienced!

Super Mario Sunshine Fan Recreates Delfino Plaza in Minecraft
Your blocky vacation paradise
A Minecraft player, using Creative Mode, has spent several months recreating Delfino Plaza from Super Mario Sunshine in Minecraft for Nintendo fans. This player, named JUH03 on Reddit, uploaded the images on Reddit. In the Reddit post, JUH03 states that they wish to rebuild all of Isle Delfino from Super Mario Sunshine into Minecraft.
If you would like to play some Minecraft yourself, the title is available via the eShop. While Super Mario Sunshine is no longer available digitally on the Switch via Super Mario 3D All Stars, you can still purchase a physical copy of the game.
Pokémon GO Sustainability Week Now Active in Asia Pacific Regions, Adding New Pokémon

Pokémon GO Sustainability Week for 2022 has now kicked off in Asia Pacific regions. As well as causing spawn increases for certain types of Pokémon and boosting lure module spawns, the event introduces the Pokémon Oranguru. Three new shiny Pokémon will also be added in this event: Cherubi, Cherrim, and Cherrim (Sunshine Form). The event also introduces a new collection challenge, as well as event exclusive field research.
The Pokémon GO Sustainability Week lasts from 10:00 local time until 20:00 local time on April 25th. To see the details of this event in Pokémon GO, visit Serebii for the specifics.
Mario Golf Now Available for Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack Members

In a tweet, Nintendo of America announced that Mario Golf, which originally debuted for the Nintendo 64, is now available on Switch for those with a Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack membership. Newly featured in this version is the capability to play online multiplayer.
Nintendo describes Mario Golf as the following:
Mario takes a well-deserved break from his role as the Mushroom Kingdom’s busiest hero and returns to the links for some world-class golfing action. Since no one likes to hit the fairways alone, he’s brought along a group of friends—both familiar characters and some for their first introduction. Choose from 10 different modes of play and six 18-hole courses in a variety of environments for a golfing experience with endless replay value. Pokémon Sword & Shield 2022 International Challenge April Has Begun

In Pokémon Sword & Shield, the 2022 International Challenge April has started. This version of the online competition is a Double Battle with standard VGC rules. Of note is that “[a]ll players who enter and participate in at least 3 battles will receive a Shiny Galarian Moltres.”
The battles for the 2022 International Challenge April will start on April 15th 00:00 UTC, and end on April 17th 23:59 UTC. You can purchase Pokémon Sword & Shield from the eShop.
RUMOR: Nintendo and Bandai Namco are Remastering/Remaking a 3D Action Title
If true, what could it be?
Via ResetEra, three new job listings have appeared on Bandai Namco Studio’s Careers page. All three jobs, as translated from Japanese, state that the positions are for a 3D action game that was contracted by Nintendo. The third listing further suggests that the game could be a remaster/remake, as the job requires the employee to do HD remastering of 3D backgrounds. The titles for the positions are for a planner and for two visual artists.

Tormented Souls Release Date Announced for Switch

Tormented Souls, a survival-horror game deliberately set to evoke memories of older Resident Evil games as well as the Alone in the Dark series, is finally releasing onto Switch. The wait is not too long, as Tormented Souls has an announced release date of April 14, 2022.
The game features staples of the classic survival-horror game genre, including fixed camera angles, fear-inducing combat in narrow corridors, and plenty of puzzles. When released, you can purchase the title via the eShop.
Nintendo Releases New Japanese Commercial for the Switch

Nintendo revealed a new Japanese commercial highlighting some of the greatest hits of the Switch thus far in a catchy jingle. The commercial shows footage from Super Mario Odyssey, Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Splatoon 2, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and other Switch titles with sing-along katakana and hiragana.

MotoGP 22 Releases New Accessibility Trailer
Titled "The Art of Racing"
Koch Media has released a new trailer for MotoGP 22, a racing title featuring 20+ tracks and over 120 riders from the 2022 season. This new trailer, titled “The Art of Racing”, highlights the new tutorials and tools to help any player, regardless of experience or ability. The trailer features how players can utilize basic and advanced tutorial sessions, as well as a MotoGP Academy, which covers acceleration tips and target times for each sector of a lap in a track. Finally, the game has a riding analysis system that notes if a player appears to be having trouble with a certain concept during a race.
MotoGP 22 releases on the Switch on April 21, 2022, and can be pre-ordered via the eShop for $39.99.
