Check Out This Deep-Dive Into The Never Released Gamecube Game "Unity"
I thought we were using godot now?
For each game that does release, there are just as many (if not more) that don’t get the chance to see the light of day. Some of them even have considerable information about them floating around because they were planned to come out, but for one reason or another, it never worked out.
The good people over at TimeExtention have put together a rather impressive breakdown of the beginning, middle, and unfortunate end of Unity, which would have been a Gamecube exclusive back in 2003. As you may have expected, Unity was never released, leaving us with bits and pieces of what it would have been like.
Its a really interesting read, so make sure to check out the full breakdown here!
F-ZERO 99's Final Track Update Now Available
Race to the finish!
F-ZERO 99 is getting its last round of tracks in today’s new update, which includes past favorites such as MUTE CITY II, RED CANYON II, and FIRE FIELD. MUTE CITY II will be featured in the normal F-ZERO 99 mode, RED CANYON II will be available in Pro + Prix modes, and FIRE FIELD is only in Grand Prix.
While Nintendo has confirmed this is the last track update, there are more updates to come in the future. What this could mean is anyone guess, but hopefully it’s more than just bugfixes!

Games Done Quick 2024 To Feature Gyromite Speedran By A Dog
Hes probably better at it than I am!
If you thought dogs couldn’t get any better, you’re mistaken. Perhaps the one thing that could make dogs better apparently is possible: Gaming.
While not his first appearance in the speedrunning scene, Peanut Butter the Dog will be making his first Games Done Quick appearance for 2024’s stream, where he will be doing a run of the NES classic Gyromite!
This will all be done live, and completely unassisted, if you doubted Peanut Butter’s gamer skills. Check out the video above if you want to see a demonstration of just how good Peanut Butter is at Gyromite!

Trombone Champ 1.21A Update Live, Next Update Features Detailed
The Tooting Doesnt Stop!
If you’re ready for even more trombone action, Holy Wow’s got you covered! Update 1.21A is now available for Trombone Champ! And it doesn’t stop there, we also got a small peek into the future!
First up, the patch notes!
Bugfixes
When attempting to beat the final boss, you should no longer get stuck on a black screen if you fail to meet the conditions required to beat the boss. When playing with more than one player, you should now receive the correct letter grades in the Track Select screen. Previously, the game would use the combined point total, making it far too easy to get S ranks. The first time you first arrive at the Track Select screen and “Warm Up” is your only option, you can no longer press X to sort tracks. Several minor bugs that could appear when switching between save slots should now be fixed.
New Content
Added two new tracks: “Down By The Riverside” and “The Barber of Seville.” This means that the Nintendo Switch™ version now has all of the tracks included in the PC and Mac versions.
Improvements
In multiplayer, the indicators for players 2, 3, and 4 have been adjusted so that it’s easier to see the position of all players. The light bloom effect when reaching Champ mode has been replaced with a new, more visible effect. The previous effect was causing framerate drops and wasn’t rendering as expected. The system that controls note timing (specifically, missing gaps between notes) has been updated to match the PC version. It should now be much easier to maintain combos when there are lots of short notes that are close together. The game should now prompt you to connect a controller shortly after launching, instead of at the dark “Trombone Champ” title screen. The score graph on the Points screen should display more accurate information when playing multiplayer. Some timers have been adjusted to prevent animation issues from occurring when the user mashes buttons. Hover states adjusted for the “Long Trombone” and “Rainbow” buttons on the character select screen, making them much easier to navigate with a controller. When a secret NPC asks you for cards, the display of the cards should look more normal if you have 0 of those cards. Now, you cannot view a track’s online leaderboards until you have at least one score for that track. The controller should no longer vibrate when pressing ZR after you’ve finished opening a chest. Some text issues in card language have been fixed. Various other tiny improvements, bugfixes, and optimizations.
And now, the future!
More control settings, such as the ability to set smoothing for each control type. We are also experimenting with an alternate method for stick control.
The Trombone Customizer, which is already in the PC and Mac versions. This allows you to completely customize your trombone, choosing its colors and textures manually. New content, which is currently a secret.
Additional bugfixes and improvements!
Thats it for Trombone Chanp news. What are you waiting for? Get back to it!

Pokemon Sleep Now Avaliable In North America
Don't Sleep On This One!
Perhaps one of my most anticipated games of the year Pokemon Sleep is finally available in North America! The game can be found on Android here, and on iOS here! For more information, check out the game’s description below!
Pokémon Sleep
Do you find yourself struggling to get energized in the morning? Has the same old bedtime routine grown tiresome? Now, you can turn your sleep into entertainment with Pokémon Sleep! Playing this game is simple: just place your smartphone by your pillow, then go to sleep. Just like that, waking up in the morning becomes something to look forward to!
Your adventure takes place on a small island where you’ll carry out research on how Pokémon sleep. You’ll work with large Snorlax who live on the island and Neroli, a professor who’s studying Pokémon sleep styles.
Rest Your Very Best!
Place your smartphone by your pillow when you go to bed to record and measure your sleep. The longer you sleep, the higher your score in the morning, and the more Pokémon you’ll see appear around Snorlax. Your nights of sleep will be classified as one of three sleep styles—dozing, snoozing, or slumbering—and in the morning, Pokémon that sleep in similar ways will come gather around Snorlax.
You may even discover a Pokémon sleeping in a rare style you’d hardly ever get to see normally. Each Pokémon has a number of different sleep styles, so see how many you can discover to complete your sleep style dex.
What are you waiting for, get to sleep!
